PAD 3: Three More Days

Today’s prompt is to take the phrase “Three (blank)” and fill in the blank. Then, make that the title of your poem and go! As today is the Second Sunday of Easter, I wrote a religious poem. Enjoy, and God bless.

Three More Days

Tridium

Three more days till

Renewal and Completion–

Still days

Somber days

Sorrowful days

Followers frightened

Friends scattered

Family mourning

Christ crucified

Christ buried

Christ awaiting

Three more days till

Resurrection

Three in One,

Three, two, one

Roll away the stone.
