PAD 10: Lethargy

Today’s prompt is to write an emotion poem. Choose an emotion, make it the title of your poem, and go! Writer’s Digest‘s poetry editor, Robert Lee Brewer, even provides this link to help you think of emotion words. With this one “in the books” as it were, we are one-third towards completion of the challenge!

Lethargy

Your brain has been injected

With Novocain,

So that now there is

Nothingness.

You must wait for the serum

To wear off

Before you can think

Or feel

Again.
